This is a remote position. Job Summary: This role will require you to run the internal financial and administrative operations of the business, including bookkeeping, data entry, reporting, tracking KPIs on spreadsheets, and AP/AR. You must be well-versed with QBO, Spreadsheets, and have a growth mindset to try new tools and solve problems. Direct report to the CEO to share insights and reports and provide a clear picture of the business financials for decision-making. Job Description: Financial Accounting (Accuracy & Compliance) Hands on bookkeeping and data entry in Quick books Invoicing, payment tracking, collections Vendor bills, scheduling and processing payments Payroll processing for W2 employees and 1099 subcontractors Subcontractor compliance, (Collecting their W-9s, COIs, Workers’ Comp documentation) Coordination with CPA on tax prep, filings, audits, and insurance reviews Maintaining clean, accurate, audit-ready financial records Management Accounting (Insight & Control) Monthly close support and internal financial reporting Cash flow monitoring and short-term forecasting Tracking key financial ratios and operational drivers Identifying trends, inefficiencies, and margin risks Supporting job-costing or project-level financial tracking Create forecast for future endeavors and investments Cross-Department Coordination & Accountability Working with department leads to define and standardize KPIs Following up to ensure data is submitted accurately and on time Improving reporting processes as the company scales Acting as the central point of accountability for business metrics Requirements 3–7+ years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance administration Comfortable with transactional accounting and analytical reporting Experience compiling reports and coordinating data across teams Strong follow-up, communication, and accountability skills Experience in construction, manufacturing, or operations-heavy businesses is a plus Spanish/English bilingual is a plus, not required
