Our client, a dynamic and innovative leader in AI and emerging technologies, is seeking a Remote Lead AI Engineer to drive the development and implementation of next-generation artificial intelligence solutions. This role is pivotal in exploring, prototyping, and deploying cutting-edge AI models and platforms that address complex challenges and create new opportunities. You will lead a team of talented AI engineers, guide technical strategy, and contribute hands-on to the development of groundbreaking AI applications. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, extensive experience with Python and AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and a strong background in areas such as NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning. Join an ambitious, fully remote team shaping the future of technology. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI models and systems. Mentor and guide a team of AI engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration. Define the technical roadmap and architectural vision for AI initiatives. Conduct research and experimentation to identify and leverage emerging AI techniques and tools. Develop and optimize machine learning algorithms for scalability and performance. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Oversee the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle, including data pipelines, model training, deployment, and monitoring. Stay current with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and related fields. Write high-quality, production-ready code and contribute to code reviews. Promote best practices in AI development, ethics, and responsible innovation. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or senior role. Expert proficiency in Python and common AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn). Strong experience in at least one major AI domain such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices. Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and deliver complex technical solutions. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
