What We're Looking For

This role reports directly to our Chief Strategy Officer, Steven Feld. We are hiring a problem-solver first, technologist second who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong technical expertise and proven leadership experience. You'll lead discovery to define the right problem, design pragmatic architectures, and then stay hands-on to ship reliable software and run it in production. You'll partner with PMs and stakeholders to turn ambiguity into clear decisions, trade-offs, and results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys architecting scalable systems, mentoring developers, owning outcomes, and leading projects from concept to deployment. You'll work closely with our CSO, Project Managers, developers, and clients to deliver high-impact solutions and help scale our onshore and offshore development team. Expect to work on custom-built software developed from the ground up, as well as sophisticated system integrations—especially in healthcare environments involving platforms like ATSs, EHRs, and other legacy systems.

Key Responsibilities

Drive discovery, translate business goals into system designs, and create architecture diagrams, sequence flows, and data models. Architect and develop full stack web applications, integrations, and backend systems. Lead and mentor a team of developers (onshore and offshore), ensuring code quality, team velocity, and adherence to best practices. Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions. Drive code reviews, architecture decisions, and sprint planning. Continuously improve our development processes, tooling, and team culture. Tech Stack We don't expect expertise in every tool listed, but anything marked with an asterisk is required for this role. Familiarity with the rest is strongly preferred. Backend: Python*, Node.js*, Java, .NET Frontend: React*, Angular, TypeScript, Tailwind Databases: SQL Server*, MySQL*, PostgreSQL, MongoDB DevOps: AWS*, Azure, Docker, GitHub Actions CRM/ERP Integrations: Salesforce, QuickBooks BI Tools: Power BI You Might Be a Great Fit If You: Are energized by complex problem solving and rapid delivery. Have led architecture/delivery from concept → MVP → production, with clear trade-offs explained to non-technical stakeholders. Have 5+ years of experience in full stack software development. Have 3+ years leading developer teams and managing technical delivery. Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Value mentorship and enjoy helping developers grow. Are comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-moving startup environment.
