Position Instructor – Full‐Time (Remote) GIS / Geospatial Systems Location Cameron Mills Overview Instructor – Full‑Time (Remote) GIS / Geospatial Systems We are seeking seasoned industry professionals with current, hands‑on experience using AI‑enabled tools to serve as Instructors (Full‑Time and Part‑Time) and Mentors across the following certificate programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead live remote instruction using project‑based curriculum
- Teach modern, AI‑integrated workflows and tools
- Guide learners through real‑world projects and capstones
- Assess learner competency using applied deliverables
- Collaborate with university partners and employer stakeholders Required Experience
- 7+ years GIS or geospatial systems experience with AI or automation
- Expertise in Spatial analysis, automation, geospatial AI, GIS platforms Universal Qualifications
- Active, recent industry experience
- Hands‑on use of AI‑enabled tools
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Experience working with adult or career‑changing learners
