Position Overview

As a Remote Data Entry Specialist – Customer Support & Big Data Analytics at arenaflex, you will operate at the critical junction where customer interaction meets enterprise data strategy.   • Effort Estimation & Delivery Planning: Provide accurate effort estimates and delivery plans for projects and initiatives. Own and support projects from start to finish.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate status, issues, and risks to management, ensuring transparency at every stage.
  • Collaboration Across the Organization: Work with teams across the organization to understand their analytics needs and create dashboards and reporting to support business functions.
  • Process Improvement: Develop processes and best practices, implement projects, and ensure business needs are being met. Investigate business and production issues, identifying root causes and sustainable solutions.

What You'll Bring – Qualifications & Experience

To succeed as a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you'll need a combination of educational background, technical expertise, and customer-facing experience. Below are the qualifications we are looking for:

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, any engineering discipline, Statistics, or Information Systems.
  • Big Data Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working with large, complex, and diverse datasets in enterprise-scale data warehousing and/or data engineering environments.
  • ETL/ELT Pipeline Expertise: 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines to deliver data with high quality. Required experience with Python or comparable technologies.
  • Modeling Tools: Experience with modeling tools such as ERWIN, Visio, or similar platforms.
  • Database Proficiency: 5+ years of experience working with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, Hadoop, Google BigQuery, DataPlex, Amazon Redshift, Hive, and similar technologies.
  • Reporting Tools: Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and/or Looker is required.
  • Orchestration Tools: Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Digdag, or comparable platforms is required.
  • CI/CD Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins and Maven.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, GIT, and other workflow management tools.
  • Cloud & Big Data Systems: Experience working with cloud-based technologies and Big Data systems in production environments.
  • Metadata Management: Solid understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality using tools like Collibra.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Someone with marketing domain knowledge is highly preferred, as it enhances cross-functional collaboration with marketing analytics teams.
  • Exposure to analytical trends, machine learning, and data science is preferred, allowing you to contribute to predictive and prescriptive analytics initiatives.
  • Experience building analytical solutions applicable to Sales, Finance, Product, and Marketing business units.
