Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer data from paper documents, scanned images, and handwritten forms into arenaflex’s proprietary database using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners.
  • Enter client‑provided information promptly, adhering to established formatting standards and data‑entry guidelines.
  • Verify the accuracy of entered data by cross‑checking against original source documents, flagging inconsistencies, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Update existing records to reflect new information, corrections, or status changes while preserving historical audit trails.
  • Retrieve and compile data extracts from the database or electronic file system in response to internal requests or client inquiries.
  • Perform routine backups and participate in data‑preservation initiatives to safeguard against loss or corruption.
  • Organize and archive physical paperwork after digitization, ensuring that original documents are stored securely and remain traceable.
  • Collaborate with the Data Manager and senior data team members to refine workflow processes, improve data‑quality metrics, and adopt best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk, preferably within a records‑management, legal, or background‑screening environment.
  • Fast, accurate typing skills (minimum 70 WPM) with a strong preference for touch‑typing proficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite—especially Word and Excel—and familiarity with data‑entry shortcuts and formulas.
