Our remote workforce is a cornerstone of our strategy, enabling us to attract top talent from every corner of the country while fostering a flexible, inclusive, and collaborative culture. As a Remote Part‑Time Provider Data Services Senior Coordinator, you will join a dynamic team that values accuracy, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.

Why This Role Matters

Provider data is the lifeblood of arenaflex’s network operations. Accurate, up‑to‑date provider information ensures that members receive timely care, that claims are processed efficiently, and that our strategic initiatives are grounded in reliable data. In this senior coordinator role, you will be the guardian of that data, overseeing quality reviews, resolving complex data discrepancies, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders to drive process enhancements. Your work will directly impact the experience of both providers and members, making a tangible difference in the health‑care ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Review & Issue Escalation: Conduct comprehensive reviews of provider data, identify inconsistencies, and raise issues to the appropriate teams for timely resolution.
  • Contractual Payment Reconciliation: Oversee the settlement of external contracted payment issues, ensuring they are routed to the correct financial frameworks.
  • Data Maintenance & Updates: Keep provider segment and contract data current, handling both routine and complex updates within the provider settlement and catalog systems.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with multiple departments—including Claims, Provider Relations, IT, and Compliance—to guarantee high‑quality provider data for our members.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify root‑cause trends (e.g., providers flagged by PST, patterns from regular PDS reviews) and collaborate across the organization to recommend and implement enhancements.
  • Complex Data Transactions: Perform advanced data exchanges and maintenance related to new product launches, system upgrades, and regulatory changes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners, delivering clear, concise written and verbal communications.
  • Training & Mentorship: Provide functional support and guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience working with provider‑related data, preferably in a health‑care environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data validation).
  • Hands‑on experience maintaining provider data within large‑scale databases or content management systems.
  • Previous experience in a production environment, demonstrating the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining data integrity.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in health‑care administration or data management are a plus.

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Familiarity with CPB (Contractual Provider Billing) or EPDB (Electronic Provider Data Base) systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Track record of collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams to exceed expectations.
  • Experience drafting concise, professional correspondence—both written and verbal.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on root‑cause analysis and proactive improvement.

Core Skills for Success

  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret large data sets, spot anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Customer‑Centric Attitude: Commitment to delivering outstanding service to internal and external partners.
  • Organizational Excellence: Strong time‑management skills and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms, data entry tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Collaboration & Influence: Skilled at building relationships, negotiating solutions, and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
