Role Overview – Remote Data Entry Specialist (Live Chat)

arenaflex is seeking a detail‑oriented, highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our remote workforce. This position is primarily based in the Philippines, but you will collaborate with colleagues across the APAC region and beyond. Your main responsibility will be to provide timely, accurate data entry support through live‑chat interactions, helping both internal teams and external partners keep critical information up‑to‑date.

Working in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment, you will be the first line of defense against data errors, ensuring that every entry, update, and correction aligns with arenaflex’s rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Live‑Chat Data Entry: Respond to internal and external inquiries via live‑chat platforms, entering and updating customer and employee records with precision.
  • Data Accuracy & Consistency: Verify the completeness of information, cross‑check against source documents, and resolve discrepancies before they affect downstream processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data‑related issues in real time, escalating complex cases to the appropriate finance or payroll specialists when necessary.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with APAC finance, payroll, and HR teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems and regions.
  • Compliance & Confidentiality: Adhere to arenaflex’s data‑privacy policies, maintaining strict confidentiality of all member and employee information.
  • Process Improvement: Provide feedback on workflow bottlenecks and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of all interactions, updates, and resolutions for audit and reporting purposes.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework or certifications in data entry, business administration, or related fields is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years proven experience in data entry, customer service, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional typing speed (≥ 70 WPM) with a focus on accuracy and minimal error rates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with common computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and live‑chat platforms (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom).
