As a Remote Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Clinical Adjudication team, handling prior authorization (PA) documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our CAPAS (Clinical Authorization Processing and Support) operations. Key Responsibilities

Core Data Management

  • Enter, verify, and maintain high‑volume data sets related to prescription claims, prior authorizations, and clinical adjudication tasks with 99.9% accuracy.
  • Perform data quality checks, identify discrepancies, and resolve them in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
  • Generate and run queries within the arenaflex data warehouse to extract actionable insights for trend analysis and risk identification.

Clinical & PA Support

  • Assist in the documentation and processing of PA overrides, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with clinical adjudicators to investigate root causes of override issues and recommend process enhancements.
  • Support the implementation of PA documentation throughout the member transition lifecycle, contributing to seamless handoffs between departments.

Project & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to branch‑specific projects and CAPAS initiatives, delivering timely and high‑quality outputs.
  • Identify opportunities for progressive enhancements across CAPAS operations and work with stakeholders to implement best‑practice solutions.
  • Participate in enterprise requirement gathering sessions, translating business needs into clear data specifications.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Demonstrate arenaflex core values—collaboration, accountability, and integrity—by actively engaging with teammates in matrixed environments.
  • Articulate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment across all levels of the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience analyzing large data sets, preferably within a health‑care or insurance context.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines while maintaining data integrity.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to translate technical details into understandable language for diverse audiences.

  • Experience with the arenaflex claims adjudication platform (formerly known as RxClaim) and familiarity with PA override workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to create complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and dashboards.
  • Hands‑on experience querying data warehouses using SQL or similar query languages.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Access databases for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, applying logical reasoning and sound judgment.
