FTE: 1.0, Shift: Days, Schedule: Mon-Fri Business Hours Position Summary The Director Compensation will manage a team responsible for the design, evaluation, streamlining, and implementation of Compensation policies, programs, objectives, and initiatives at MultiCare Health System. This includes base pay, incentive pay, and analytics, ensuring market competitiveness with a best-practice approach. Responsibilities also include managing Compensation administration in Workday, reports and dashboard development, change management, M&A activity, and system implementations and integrations. This position is strategy focused and collaborates with Human Potential (HP) leadership in System-wide project. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred Eight (8) years of progressive experience within compensation function with increased responsibility Five (5) years in managerial, supervisory, consultant capacity or comparable Prior experience with Workday preferred, but not required Certification in related area preferred (i.e. CCP, CBP, PHR) Consideration may be given to internal candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements Why MultiCare? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $163,113.60 - $234,707.20 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
