Key Responsibilities

As a Third Shift Data Entry Specialist, you will be the backbone of our laboratory information flow. Your day‑to‑day duties will include:

  • Accurately entering patient, client, billing, and test information into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) with a focus on speed and precision.
  • Identifying data discrepancies, flagging incomplete records, and initiating corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Collaborating with laboratory technologists, phlebotomists, and supervisors to resolve data‑related issues in real time.
  • Operating general laboratory equipment such as telephones, computers, centrifuges, and audible alarms while adhering to safety protocols.
