[Remote] Systems Engineer, Health Information Exchange

Oracle is a leading company in data and cloud solutions, seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Tiger Institute Health Information Exchange platform. The role involves ensuring system reliability, secure data exchange, and operational compliance while collaborating with various teams and assisting with day-to-day operations and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day operations of the HIE platform and infrastructure
  • Monitor system health, performance, and uptime
  • Troubleshoot interface errors, message failures, and data exchange issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes
  • Support HL7, CCD, FHIR, and other interoperability standards
  • Assist with onboarding new participants and connections
  • Validate inbound/outbound data feeds
  • Coordinate testing and production deployments
  • Partner closely with the existing senior HIE engineer
  • Provide cross-training and operational backup coverage
  • Collaborate with data, security, and infrastructure teams
  • Support contracted reporting requirements and operational documentation

Skills

  • Must reside in Missouri to support state program alignment and stakeholder coordination
  • Support day-to-day operations of the HIE platform and infrastructure
  • Monitor system health, performance, and uptime
  • Troubleshoot interface errors, message failures, and data exchange issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes

  • Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
