Junior Software Engineer
General Dynamics Mission Systems is a leading provider of high technology solutions for defense and scientific applications. They are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to develop software for a next-generation sonar array for future United States Navy submarines as part of a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- As a software engineer for the SONAR business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for develop software for a next-generation sonar array for future United States Navy submarines
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or Engineering, Science, or Math, plus 1 year of relevant experience; or Master's degree
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire
- Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- U.S. citizenship is required

- Clear understanding of the software engineering concepts, principles, theories, software development process, and agile methodology
- Clear understanding of the software development process, with agile experience
