Sales Development Representative - Data Licensing

Shutterstock is a leading creative platform that connects artists and professionals globally, and they are seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive pipeline generation and customer engagement. The role involves outbound prospecting, qualifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with Account Directors to expand Shutterstock’s presence in the AI and enterprise sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute outbound prospecting strategies across AI, technology, enterprise, and developer-focused accounts
  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and other outbound channels
  • Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities by understanding customer initiatives, business challenges, and technical use cases
  • Partner closely with Account Executives on territory strategy, account prioritization, and pipeline development
  • Build targeted prospect lists and execute multi-threaded outreach into key accounts
  • Clearly communicate Shutterstock’s Data Licensing solutions and value proposition to both technical and business audiences
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene, activity tracking, and pipeline reporting within Salesforce and sales engagement tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, and Revenue teams to support campaign execution and lead generation initiatives
  • Continuously test and improve messaging, outreach strategies, and prospecting effectiveness

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in sales development, business development, recruiting, lead generation, or other customer-facing roles preferred
  • Experience using Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo or similar platforms
  • Exposure to SaaS, enterprise technology, AI, or data-related industries
  • Proven ability to work toward performance goals and activity metrics
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
