[Remote] Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Payments Strategy)

The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will analyze complex financial data to support strategic decision-making, transforming raw data into actionable insights for the executive team.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain PowerBI dashboards that track customer and vendor behaviors, identifying trends that signify churn risk or growth opportunities
- Develop data-driven forecasts for interchange revenue and operational savings to support quarterly business reviews
- Act as an internal consultant to identify high-value areas for resource allocation, such as shifting high-volume check spend to e-payments
- Perform rigorous self-audits and reconciliation to ensure that every figure presented to leadership is 100% accurate and defensible
Skills
- Expert-level SQL (complex joins, CTEs)
- PowerBI
- Excel (advanced modeling)
- 4+ years in a Business Intelligence or Financial Analyst role
- Experience presenting complex data insights directly to C-level executives or Department Leads
- Previous experience in the US payments industry (Interchange, ACH, VCC)
- A borderline-obsessive attention to detail
- Python is a strong plus
