Position Overview

As a Data Operations Specialist at arenaflex, you will be at the heart of our content management engine, ensuring that the vast library of entertainment we offer is accurately cataloged, properly tagged, and seamlessly accessible to subscribers worldwide. Your work will directly impact how audiences find their next favorite series, film, or documentary, and how our internal teams leverage data to make strategic content decisions. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Content Cataloging: Accurately input, update, and maintain comprehensive metadata for thousands of titles across our streaming platform, including information about cast, crew, genres, release dates, ratings, and content descriptions.
  • Quality Assurance & Validation: Perform rigorous quality checks on existing data entries to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to arenaflex's strict content guidelines and classification standards.
  • Database Management: Navigate and manage complex database systems to retrieve, verify, and modify information as needed, while maintaining data integrity across multiple interconnected platforms.
  • Content Research & Verification: Conduct thorough research using reliable sources to verify factual information, correct discrepancies, and enrich content profiles with relevant details that enhance user experience.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with content acquisition specialists, localization teams, and metadata engineers to support seamless content launches and ongoing catalog maintenance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, suggest enhancements to existing tools and systems, and contribute to documentation that helps improve team efficiency.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow detailed style guides, classification taxonomies, and data entry protocols to ensure all information meets arenaflex's exacting quality benchmarks.
  • Timely Delivery: Meet productivity targets and deadlines while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, balancing speed with precision in a fast-paced entertainment environment.
  • Confidentiality & Security: Handle sensitive content information with the utmost discretion, complying with all data privacy regulations and internal security policies at arenaflex.
  • Reporting & Feedback: Generate regular reports on data entry progress, flag recurring issues or patterns, and provide constructive feedback to supervisors regarding process improvements.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution. While degrees in Library Science, Information Management, Communications, Media Studies, or related disciplines are preferred, we welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds who demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Data Entry Experience: Proven experience in data entry, content management, administrative support, or a similar role where accuracy and attention to detail were paramount. Previous experience in the entertainment, media, publishing, or e-commerce industries is a plus.
  • Typing Proficiency: Excellent typing skills with a minimum speed of 45-50 words per minute while maintaining exceptional accuracy. Familiarity with various data entry tools and software is essential.
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable working with databases, spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), content management systems, and various web-based applications. Basic understanding of metadata standards and taxonomies is highly desirable.
